Derringer was designed by Daniel Murray-Lake as a full weight, mid length multipurpose tool, capable of processing firewood, splitting small logs butchering meat and martial applications.
Although aesthetically pleasing with its flowing fullers that lighten and strengthen the blade and unique Khol, this khukuri is just as much a hard working tool as it is a beautiful and fearsome weapon.

A finger choil is placed in the kaudi position to allow for multiple grips making carving tasks and light controlled chopping easier by bringing the hand closer to the point of balance staving off fatigue.
A full stick tang construction is used here with a horn handle secured by Daniel's indicative Celtic solar wheel cross keeper plate.
With a slightly convexed water quenched cutting edge, this khukuri will be durable enough for battoning small logs without quickly losing its sharpness. The variable temper used on the steel means it can withstand a lot of force and vibration.
Overall a beautiful and durable khukuri for enthusiasts, hikers, campers and martial artists alike.
